OUR HISTORY

Second Baptist, Rosenberg was conceived and built in the mid 1950's.  During the mid 1980's, the church refurbished the sanctuary, added a new exterior edifice with a new steeple, and paved the parking lot.

Hurricane Rita destroyed a small adjacent educational building in 2005.  Construction for a new children's building began in 2010.

Second Baptist, Rosenberg has always enjoyed a multi-cultural congregation.  Three languages are spoken among the members:  English, Spanish, and Chinese.
We are the small church with a big heart.  We are the church where everybody is somebody.
